View and Manage Your Bugs
After you have submitted a bug to the Windows® bug management service, or if you are tracking the activity on bugs that others have submitted, you can view and manage these bugs from the Bug management page on the Dashboard website of Windows® Hardware Developer Center or Windows® Desktop App Developer Center.
Viewing submitted bugs
You can use one of the following prepared filters to display the bugs you're interested in:

To search for submitted bugs

From either the Windows® Hardware Developer Center or the Windows® Desktop App Developer Center, sign in to the Dashboard by using your Microsoft account.

On the left side of the window, click Bug management.

On the Bug management page, in the View bugs tile, click the filter you want to use.
The list is updated to show the bugs you want to see.
To view and edit a bug

To open a bug, click the Bug ID.

To edit the fields of the bug, click Edit.

To submit your bug changes to Microsoft, on the top of the page, click Save.
Managing bugs
After you click a bug ID, you can also attach files to the bug, view bug history, and resolve bug duplicates.
To attach a file to a bug
You can attach and upload files to a bug to help Microsoft debug your bug. You can also view files attached to the bug by Microsoft.

Click the Files tab at the bottom of the bug Details page.

Click Select file(s) to upload….

Select the file and click Open.

After the upload is complete, click Save to submit the bug along with the uploaded file(s) to Microsoft.

The uploaded files now appear in the Files tab.
To view or save attached files

Click the Files tab and click Download File.

Click Open or click Save.
To delete files

Click the Delete button next to the file name.

If a Delete button does not show up next to the file, this means that there are files with duplicate names attached to the bug. Add a note in the description field to ask Microsoft to delete the file. |
To view history of a bug
You can view the history of a bug, which includes all actions performed by you and Microsoft. You can view all edits, state changes, and other tasks in this view. The email address you entered when you registered on the site is displayed each time you make a change to a bug that belongs to your company.
History information cannot be edited, and is associated with the bug throughout the lifetime of the bug. If a bug is transferred or reactivated, the history remains.

Click the History tab at the bottom of the bug Details page.
To view bug duplicates
You can resolve a bug as a duplicate of another bug.

Click the Resolve Bug icon at the top of the bug Details page, and enter the ID of the duplicate bug.

If the bug ID is valid, it appears on Duplicates tab at the bottom of the page.
Note If other bugs are resolved as duplicates of the same primary bug, the bug IDs appear here. -
The PrimaryType entry lists the Status, Resolution, Changed Date, ETA for Fix, Fix Build, and Fix Available Branch information for the bug. This can be a Microsoft bug or a bug that belongs to your company.

A hyperlinked Bug ID indicates that the bug in the duplicate list belongs to your company. Clicking on the link directs you to the bug Details page.

A text-only Bug ID indicates that the bug is not primary in the duplicate list and does not belong to your company.

The internal Windows database gets updated accordingly.
