Global Versus Local Statistics

The hypervisor provides global and local classes of statistics counters. Counters of the local class are local to a specific partition or objects that are associated with a partition. Counters of the global class are associated with the entire hypervisor or objects that are not associated with a specific partition.

Global statistics classes apply to the following entities:

  • Hypervisor

  • Logical processors

Local statistics classes apply to the following entities:

  • Partitions

  • Virtual processors
