Hypervisor Virtual MMU and Caching
The hypervisor implements functions that partitions can use to manage virtual memory. For more information about these functions, see Virtual Memory Management Unit Functions.
The virtual machine interface that each partition exposes includes a memory management unit (MMU). The virtual MMU that hypervisor partitions expose is generally compatible with the physical MMU. The hypervisor also supports guest-defined memory cacheability attributes for pages that are mapped into a partition's guest virtual address (GVA) space.
